ON HIATUS. It has been over five years of writing a daily poem and I needed a bit of a break. I'm not sure what the next step for this project will be. In the meantime, I am reviewing the poems written to compile into a new anthology. Thank you for joining me on this journey and enjoy the poetry.

variegated
color ourselves in contradictions
wear our rainbows like scales
on the belly of a fish
we shimmer and shine
in variegated hues divine
we are all the things
we wish we were
and all the ones
we wish we weren't
and with every swish
we switch
