every day the same
a hundred tiny tasks
mundane yet onerous
inbox full of papers
sink full of dirty dishes
basket bulging with clothes
the chores, the floors,
the utter bore of it all
repeating ad infinitum
as you struggle against
the tyranical twins
of entropy & apathy
