EACH DAY A NEW WORD / EACH DAY A NEW PIECE -
ON HIATUS. It has been over five years of writing a daily poem and I needed a bit of a break. I'm not sure what the next step for this project will be. In the meantime, I am reviewing the poems written to compile into a new anthology. Thank you for joining me on this journey and enjoy the poetry.

junket
carrion birds clustered
around fresh carcass
could not
with greater gusto
rend tender flesh
than the murder
of crowing crowds
on jeering junket
digesting the distress
of prior pedestal possessor
plummeting down
to join them
on the ground
