Time, that old thief,
sinks his teeth in
in assorted schemes.
Sometimes, some time
he outright steals -
bold as brass and
twice as daring, but
from others he
underhand embezzles
in slow and steady
drips and drabs
quietly amassing
a fortune of memories.
