EACH DAY A NEW WORD / EACH DAY A NEW PIECE -
ON HIATUS. It has been over five years of writing a daily poem and I needed a bit of a break. I'm not sure what the next step for this project will be. In the meantime, I am reviewing the poems written to compile into a new anthology. Thank you for joining me on this journey and enjoy the poetry.

derring-do
fluorescent
flickers overhead
and our heads pulse
and throb in kind
we lose ourselves
and our collective mind
in row after cubicle row
a cell block we designed
and on our break from one to two
we daydream over salad
a life of derring-do
