ON HIATUS. It has been over five years of writing a daily poem and I needed a bit of a break. I'm not sure what the next step for this project will be. In the meantime, I am reviewing the poems written to compile into a new anthology. Thank you for joining me on this journey and enjoy the poetry.

audacious
I live a mostly quiet life
with quiet hopes and deeds
but in my secret spaces
my heart leaps audacious
and sings a cabaret
and a dances a burlesque
behind the everyday
within my quiet chest
