ON HIATUS. It has been over five years of writing a daily poem and I needed a bit of a break. I'm not sure what the next step for this project will be. In the meantime, I am reviewing the poems written to compile into a new anthology. Thank you for joining me on this journey and enjoy the poetry.

slimsy
dressing hurt with a slimsy suit
woven of half truths and excuses
buttoning up your lip and vest
and adjusting your boutineer
so covering up all the past
may you hold your future more dear
