tantivy

my heart
a thoroughbred
thoroughly bred
to rush ahead
of my head
racing tantivy
through fields
of doubt
jumping hedges
as bystanders shout
watch out watch out
but heart gallops on
headlong
as I hang on 
looking beyond
to green pastures
on the horizon
