no clever ruse
no disguise
not misdirection
not lies
can aid me
to sneak me through or
over or under walls to you
insufficient my attempts
to insinuate myself
by using stealth
so here I stand
in no man's land
surrounded by mines
and missiles
and make myself known
as I stand here alone
without any bells or whistles
