procrastinate

in rainbow rivers words tumble
swirling vibrant they sing
with whiskey and hope
and we stumble
bumbling clumsy enthusiastic
as we fall together
into each other
procrastinate goodbyes
in kisses and whimsy
as fingers find and cling and
swing with every step
and though it may
never be more than this
we make one of two
in this moment,
for this heartbeat eternity
of ethereal bliss
