The man on the park bench;
he wears a nice suit
through which he fervently sweats.
Excuses debouch from his mouth
into the air momentarily
and then plummet -
falling flat in front
of shiny patent black leather heels
tapping their toes impatiently
incredulously
before manicured nails
smooth out a skirt
and the heels resolutely
march off.
