The world changes, too.
And yet,
time's predictable
and we're predictable
and the world's predictable, too.
The contract
never spoken
never written
still applies.
We are as we are.
To break this tacit covenant,
to make null and void
requires a surfeit of
creation
or destruction.
And, we,
lazy creatures,
do neither.
