EACH DAY A NEW WORD / EACH DAY A NEW PIECE -
ON HIATUS. It has been over five years of writing a daily poem and I needed a bit of a break. I'm not sure what the next step for this project will be. In the meantime, I am reviewing the poems written to compile into a new anthology. Thank you for joining me on this journey and enjoy the poetry.

gloaming
beyond the firelight
shadows lengthen
as the gloaming sets in
the crickets begin
chirrupping to fiddle
their end of summer serenade
campfire smoke billows
infiltrates your hair and clothes
to remind you tomorrow
of tonight
