EACH DAY A NEW WORD / EACH DAY A NEW PIECE -
ON HIATUS. It has been over five years of writing a daily poem and I needed a bit of a break. I'm not sure what the next step for this project will be. In the meantime, I am reviewing the poems written to compile into a new anthology. Thank you for joining me on this journey and enjoy the poetry.

mentor
a midnight confusion
clouds my mind
and settles in to take root
a weed seeded by ill winds
mentors have I had
in gardening gear
to show with hoe and spade
to leave the flowers
but still my bed in disarray
watered by too many showers
This is a, " read it four times and think about it the rest of the day," type of poem.
