onomatopoeia

words
crash and crumble
turn and tumble
at a crisp crunch
or melt like cotton candy
on the tongue
sibilance like sugar spun
linger languidly in language
feel it drip from your lips
like sucking honey off fingertips
drown in onomatopoeia
lost in sound as savory sweet
and satisfying as a kiss
the poetry of life
is all there is
