lollygag

strength of purpose
never quite my SOP
instead I oft meander
towards whom I hope to be
lollygag at the good parts
to forge ahead with bruised
but still unbroken hearts
with kindnesses caressed
forgiving and forgiven
by transgressors
and transgressed
never apologizing
for sweet rose smelling
ambition is laudable
but I find joy
more compelling
