having clawed
her way up
you'd think
she'd lend a hand
to the women who follow
as she from broad perch
surveys the land
and yet instead
she waves an axe
and hews the branches
just below
with wild swings
as though
another woman's gain
would be her loss
it's disappointing
in a boss
