EACH DAY A NEW WORD / EACH DAY A NEW PIECE -
ON HIATUS. It has been over five years of writing a daily poem and I needed a bit of a break. I'm not sure what the next step for this project will be. In the meantime, I am reviewing the poems written to compile into a new anthology. Thank you for joining me on this journey and enjoy the poetry.

nexus
in the center
of the web
he sits
growing bloated
on the carcasses
of the caught
in the nexus
of deed and thought
he vomits a silken thread
the prey's dread
that binds and catches all
as he holds them in thrall
before sucking them dry
